This past weekend

Friday

We went for a walk and stopped off at one of our fav pubs The Selden Arms (built 1869).

It’s small but has a decent choice of ales and the landlady is so funny with her regulars. Maybe we will become regulars as it will be our local work pub soon. We only had 2 ales there, then header off to get some dinner from our fav fish & chip place Chipwick, it has to be the best one around. We didn’t eat in this time but got food to take home, for once there was no queue, usually there is a crowd outside the door. Maybe because is was halloween night.

Saturday

We went in the morning to a guided ww1 tour of the local cemetery. They do one a month and they are all themed. After that we did nothing else all day.

Sunday

We went to Brighton nice and early for the Veterans London to Brighton car run. The weather was crap but we enjoyed ourselves. 140310044214_vcr_2013_brighton_041Neither of us had been and we were glad we went. We had lunch as Ed’s Easy Diner. We didn’t even know there was one in Brighton until we got off the bus so we went there instead of Nandos.

I had something similar to the above but it was a chicken burger and my fries had chilli cheese on them 🙂 We also both had a root beer float each. Last time we went they had root beer shakes but things have changed since then. We love root beer but you can’t get it that easily here in the UK so at any opportunity we will have it.
